Mr. Risaburo Aoki granted Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Rossette.
Mr. Risaburo Aoki elected as Chairman for the first time from the medical industry for 50th Annual Meeting of Japan Medical Machinery Society.
Organ Preservation Device developed

Aoki Memorial Machinery Museum inaugurated

1978

To make the museum a public organization, the Museum is donated to the Japan Medical Machinery Society, and the Japan Medical Instrument History Preservation Society, a non profit organization, is established

1981

Mr. Risaburo Aoki granted the Distinguished Award by the International Society of Artificial Organs

1983

Senko's President, Mr. Yoshio Aoki, granted the Technology Award from the Japan Medical Machinery Society

1984

Japan's Ministry of Health and Welfare granted formal approval to establish the Japan Medical Instrument History Preservation Society as a foundation. Mr. Risaburo Aoki granted Honorary Doctorate by the Cleveland Clinic in the United Sates.
World's first silicon hollow fiber oxygenator launched

Hummingbird, a high frequency ventilator for neonates, adopted in a National Institute of Health (U.S.A.) sponsored project

Commercialization of the cold laser unit under development since 1982 and breathing circuit

1988

Mr. Yoshio Aoki elected as Chairman by the Japan Medical Machinery Industry Association

1989

Mr. Yoshio Aoki assumed the post of Vice President of the Japan Medical Machinery Body Association Mr. Yoshio Aoki appointed as Managing Director of the Japan Medical Instrument History Preservation Committee

Received the Good Design Award for the Membrane Oxygenator Excelung
